Experts/Bowling company reps, RG and Diff ?
« on: January 08, 2005, 04:35:32 AM »
What pin distance is used when measuring a ball for the advertized RG and Diff specs?
I have always wondered because pin to CG definately affects both.

Most companies give the lower of the RG figures (generally the one with the pin on the axis point).  If you want to work out the higher rg value (rotating with the pin 6 3/4" away from the PAP) then just add the differential value to the lower one.  Brunswick give low, high and an average differential.

What he said.  But seriously, he's got it pretty much dead on.
