Pens/Pencils for Filling in Logos
« on: May 15, 2005, 05:37:49 AM »
Does anyone know where to find the pens or pencils used to fill in the engravings/logos on bowling balls?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Innovative bowling has them. I can't remember the colors, but call them

I agree with the crayon method. It works really well.

Mark me down as another vote for the crayon idea . . . Not only doest it last a while, but it is cheaper, and you probably have the crayons at your house already . . . Or a son/daughter/niece/nephew/grandchild that has some you can borrow.

I use grease pencils from art supply stores.

It only comes in white, but I used tub and tile caulk. Lasts a lot longer than the crayolas ( tried that also).

If you go this route, have paper towels ready to wipe away the excess caulk before it dries.

P.S. You might even color it with food coloring. I never tried it, but I thought about it.
