Just thought wouldn't a ball with a 2.57 rg .06 differential and a .07 intermediate differential and a pure reactive cover have a monster backend that most bowlers enjoy? (A.k.a. , sideways bowling ball)

A .07" intermediate differential? I don't believe such can exist.

Hate to burst your bubble... but if a company thought your "fantasy" specs were worth marketing it would already be on the market.

Bowling is about knocking over 10 pins, not covering boards...

Also, you might want to clarify on your numbers... no ball designer in place at any respected ball company would (or can) create  a ball with that much intermediate diff...

None of those numbers stand out as unusual. Option 3 or 4 I like.

A .07 int diff is available and not out of the norm. Track 607 comes to mind and any of their other balls will be close like the 706 508 and ect.

There have been plenty of bowling balls with int diffs of .030. Siege, many Morich balls, Track 930 series, some from Hammer ect.

Don't you mean that there are plenty of balls out there with .007 intermediate differential?

Track 607 has an intermediate differential of 0.007, not 0.07.  0.07 would be rediculously large.  I've seen a few in the 0.03 - 0.035 range, but nothing higher off the top of my head.

Sorry using my phone. Yes .007, not .07, I was seeing not reading. He also list a diff of .06 with that ball which I assume is wrong as well.

 I was seeing  rg 2.57 diff .60 and int diff .007 but thats not what was listed.

A diff of 0.60 is also illegal... Remember, the decimal point is your friend.

I think that is a typo.  Not .07 but perhaps .027 like in the poll?

So glad to see EVERYONE troll this guy's post.

But to answer the original question, surface dictates 70% of motion. The core dictates the shape. Smooth surface = flippier reaction shape. So, this core would give a nice, sharp breakpoint shape.

By the way, I am not interested in a ball that goes "sideways". I only posted this topic because I know bowlers like a ball that has a huge backend. Not a ball that hooks the most in oil. They just have a assume that a ball that is made to hook has the backend motion they are looking for. That's why equipment like the issue TOUR pearl, dirty look, violent eruption, vow, victory road, misfit pearl, ringer,etc. sale so well. I'm sure you know this already but I just wanted to post something interesting. I can see a company like storm,dv8, or hammer making a ball like this.
