favorite older ball that would hold up today?
« on: March 11, 2009, 01:50:13 PM »
lets go back atleast to before 2000, does anyone still throw a ball from this era? am i the only one who thinks that newer equipment is vastly overated, and some older balls from the 1990's still hold up. i still see a heck of a lot of hammers. i know 2 guys who average over 225 who use old crusty hammers from the early 1990s.
lets face it... this isnt deadlifting or picking up women.. its BOWLING!!!! Stop acting tough when you roll 4 strikes in a row!!!

I still have a Storm Thunder that I use from time to time and it moves a ton.

AMF had several balls from that era that can still be used with great success: RPM, Ultra C, XS.

Lane #1 Cherry C/2 Pearl is another.
