New Instructional Articles in BJI...
« on: May 02, 2008, 06:56:31 AM »
That's right, folks! As part of BJI's redesign, there are now several instruction-based columns in every issue (as of May):

1) The Pro Approach, with Bill Spigner -- breaking down the greats' games and applying it your game.

2) Tenpin Tutor, with Tom Madrecki -- tips, drills and tricks from the sport's best coaches.

You can also expect some other, smaller (paragraph-sized) sections devoted to helping you improve your game. These might be easily explained tips, drills, etc. And we haven't done away with our normally featured content of an instructional nature...

In the May issue, Bill analyzes Pete Weber's game, while I sit down with Bill Straub of Nebraska. June could be even better -- I don't know what Bill's got in store, but I know that the Tenpin Tutor for that month is pretty sweet (it's more concrete than the one in May; both are great, but I know different people like different things in instructional articles).
