Post them! We need some humor to break up the seriousness of bowling these days. My favorite team name I have ever used is "Faking a Scorgasm"
-
Dicks and Dykes
(two guys named Richard and two women married to each other)
Made me laugh anyway, but then I'm mentally equivalent to a 12 year old. ;D
-
Sofa King Fun!
-
Summer league team one year and it has stuck ever since for every summer....
"Off in the Woods"
Why?
Whenever we lose, the other team says...
We beat Off in the Woods
It is what it is.
-
"You Pick'em" when we couldn't come up with a name.
-
Split or Swallow and Backdoor Punishment
-
Fubar, BAMf's, who the hell cars, diligaff
-
Bowling in a three man summer league: Third Leg
-
Marks Brothers; we had a 5 man team in a league at Pheasant Lanes in Bloomington, Illinois. The name was perfect because there were 5 Marx Brothers: Groucho, Chico, Harpo, Gummo, and Zeppo. We stayed together for 8 years---the most enjoyable bowling of my life.
Possum, thanks for the post.

My summer team is affectionately called: The Cheesebus Allstars
My regular league team is: The Showstoppers
We have fun in both leagues.
-
Our team name this past year was 'Melting Pot' because our lineup, regardless of if we used subs, always consisted of one/two Caucasians, a Hispanic, an African-American and/or a Filipino.
-
Dream Killers
-
NO BOWL SHET was the team I was in two seasons ago.
-
Dickens Fruit Farm
Everyone loves Dickens sider
-
NOMADS - Our Monday night team name as our team keeps moving from league to league and house to house over that last 20+ years in order to stay together and bowl as leagues fold and bowling centers close.
-
islenmetfan4life - how funny. I was on a 4 man team one year that consisted of one Hispanic, one Caucasian, one Filipino, and one African American and our team name was International Flavor.
This past year everyone on the team had some kind of physical ailment so we named the team Call the Medic.
-
I'm loving reading these! I really enjoy hearing the stories behind the names you guys are using too. It adds a lot of meaning to the name
-
Bowlzinga ( we're "Big Bang" fans ). Throw Mama from the Lane ( no particular reason ). Fantastic4 & another guy.
-
We used to be Hey You're Up, which was appropriate since one of our bowlers was usually socializing when it was her turn to bowl. A couple of funny team names in our mainly mens league were Stinky Fingers and Balls Deep.
-
one year we named our team Team 10, no big deal except we were actually team 12. The league made us change it after the 3rd week because for 3 weeks we had 3 teams showing up on our pair, the opposing team, us and the team number 10. I had fun with it for a few weeks.

LOL! I like it! Problem is.....a lot of folks wouldn't even get the pun!
-
This year it should have been: "Sorry I'm having a career night", as people set their career highs against us during the year.
One year, we have a tournament group of guys that bowl together but on separate teams during league. One team was "Half", the rest were "The Other Half".
-
Back in the day, I was lucky enough to bowl on a team with 4 other REALLY large men. It would be safe to say that the average body weight of those guys was in excess of 300 lbs. And then, there I was at around 135 dripping wet.....
....we called ourselves Four Whales & a Worm. (think about it. ;D )
-
Bowl-L Movement comes to mind...
