12th frame dream team
« on: December 21, 2004, 06:57:18 AM »
Because I've had Norm Duke and Brian Voss all season, I've saved $100K on my team cost - and put together what I think is a REAL dream team going into next year. Thoughts?

Norm Duke
Brian Voss
Chris Johnson
Walter Ray Williams
Parker Bohn

Looks like a pretty good team to me, though I'm not a much of a WRW Jr fan. My picks are quite a bit different (except for CJ).

Barnes
Haugen
R Smith
Wiseman
Johnson

I think that Haugen or Barnes are going to win the next event.

I'm normally not a WRW fan either, but he's hungry, and he's not going to get knocked out by any amateurs in 4 or 5 games with the format change.

Parker's due. He's bowling better - and right now HE'S CHEAP!! I don't think he'll be very cheap real soon....

Parker looked real good in the qualifying rounds last week in SoCal. I don't understand how anyone could think he's done.

Bohn may have a better chance with the new round-of-64 14-game format, he has struggled with the all-match play format.  PDW's not having an easy time of it either apparently...or Mika.

Parker has picked it up the last two weeks (rd of 16/rd of 8) and I think that this will continue especially with the format change. Mika and PDW should benefit as well.
