I hope you fair better than we did. Here in the SF bay area, we had the Silicon Valley open. It lasted 1 year. The tour makes only 1 stop in Ca. now,and that is in the LA area.

To Bones:
Well, my coach Thomas Carbone, used to be on the PBA to my knowledge, though I don't know if he was all that active. There are a few regional players that come to mind, mainly Tyler Jenson...
To Ringin10:
Well, I know there are alot more bowling alleys in that part of the bay area than where I moved from. I used to live in Orinda, and the only bowling alley close to there was the one in Moraga, but it has been shut down for a few years now.

Hey - San Jose had a tour stop for many, many years - at Saratoga Lanes. Don't know exactly when they stopped going there, but it sure lasted way longer than 1 year.
They discontinued the Tacoma (Seattle) stop this year. And that's the ONLY stop near the home office... Wonder if there's a reason for that??

Bowlers are like puppies. The only difference is that someday the puppy will quit whining.

That's true, I had forgotten about that. I even bowled in the pro-am one year in the early 80's at Futurama Bowl, and that's been closed for years. The Silicon Valley Open was in Daly City.
