Yeah, the Hoinke tourney is when I realized it was not just a small issue. I damaged my arm practicing the nite before, and put everythign away and took lots of Advil, etc, thinking I pulled a muscle or something along those lines. I downed another boatload of Advil about 30 minutes from the bowling center on the road to give the Advil enough time to kick in...I had brought 16 balls with me, but only took in 4 knowing my arm just wasn't right. The 4th shot I tossed I was in so much pain I ran off the approach biting my shirt so I would not scream in front of all of the other bowlers...I don't drive 5 1/2 hours to throw 4 shots and quit...so its was quite a shock to me as I really have never had any major injuries through all my years of sports, and this ended up being my only ever surgery...so far..
900...you have nit the nail on the head...I have missed bowling competitively, but realize now that I have been blessed to already put up 300s, 800s, and a major local scratch tourney win before my injury...so now my main goal is to go HAVE FUN...and if I don't bowl well...OH WELL..at least I am able to bowl at all!

Long way to go yet, but every step has been positive!
