handicap leagues suck (rant)

so im in a singles league which uses scores from the team league im in. I was in first place up until tonight (the last week of the league). The last 2 weeks i have had to bowl a guy giving him 15 pins a game, and lose overall by less than a combined 2 week total of 13 pins. I shot the same score both weeks and of course got screwed by good ol handicap.

Didn't you know that it was a handicap league when you joined?

Just join a scratch league, and be done with it.  Problem solved.

15 pins!!??  That practically scratch what are you complaining about.

Its not like someone that averages 75 pins less then you had a career night with tons of lucky hits.

I agree with some others. Join a Scratch League and move on.

If I bowl with buddies for some fun, we do a handicap league, but if we want to know how we stack up against others, we bowl scratch leagues.

Personally I NEVER give pins if I bowl for cash, beer, games, what have you.  Just as I NEVER give strokes to anyone on the golf course if we are playing for anything.

If you want to take something from me, you need to beat me straight up no matter what game we are playing.

add a scratch bowlers forum to so the men in the scratch forum can be seperated from the women in the Handicap forum

ok Im sorry but scratch bowlers should have there own forum to CRY on!!! Im so over all of you scratch bowlers.  Ok you are better than us handicap bowlers but when we shot 40 pins over average you all start to cry about handicap! But when a 210 average shots 290 or 300 its ok that they shot 80-90 pins over there cap!! Whaz up with that!!?!??!?!?!!?!
