« on: November 25, 2008, 06:10:23 PM »
Looking for a cool sight for unusual or experimental drillings for my newest equipment, i've tried the Rico and the 315 and love them both so it made me a little more adventuresome please let me know of any more unique drill patterns or sights to go to thanks!

I've tried a few different drillings before.

Like this one on a Mo ball

And this one on an overseas Brunswick ball

This Fury isn't standard

And I have a Blue Retro at the shop with the pin directly over my thumb.

Whatever happened to drilling your equipment to get a desired ball reaction as opposed to drilling it to be the only clown in league with some asinine layout?

If you're drilling an unusual layout to get a very specific reaction, great, I hope you know what you're doing and it actually works!
If you're drilling one to experiment on an old ball you aren't having any luck with and want to see what it does, hey, it's your money, not mine.  Good luck.
If you're doing it to a brand new ball just for the hell of it, why?????

If anybody ever complains about not having enough fingers in the ball, there's the perfect smartazz solution!

This was my motivation for first trying a rico layout.
Finding out the layout produced a desireable reaction for me was a bonus

It rolled very well, long smooth and continuous downlane. It's a similar drilling to the Ebonite trick layout with above my fingers because the cg is in my middle finger. I bought the ball NIB for $10.00 so I figured why not.

The overseas Zone Classic rolled good to, strong hook/set reaction, amazing for those strong wet/drys and fried backends.

I'd like to drill another ball how I drilled my Blue Retro, really really smooth rolling.
