Title: finally posted a Dutch 200...
Post by: michelle on May 04, 2004, 07:59:34 PM

I know that in some respects, it is not really a big deal, but it was something that I had come close on in the past before tossing a double somewhere late in the game...

And, making it a little more worthwhile to me was that I had to toss the strike on the fill ball instead of the marginally easier strike followed by spare in the 10th.  The 10 pin I had to cover for the spare was actually the only corner pin in that game...

More importantly (at least for me) on the night was that I finally felt like I was getting out of the ball clean on all of the lines I played (it was a night where I used a different ball each game and played a number of different lines trying to gear up for Wichita)...clean releases and forced shots were something that has plagued me over the past month.

LOL 'bones...but you forget- if they started the game with a strike, they have to have figured it out for at least one shot (the final ball)
