How my team got better at 10 pins
« on: May 25, 2007, 02:18:34 AM »
Plain and simple.....cash on the line will make you better.  Whether it's tournament bowling or whatever, my personal experience has told me that people will perform better with cash on the line.

So, my team this year decided to put up 50 bucks each out of our prize money and the guy with the highest percentage of 10-pin conversions took down the whole pot.

Does anyone out there do anything similar?  Do you have similar team-practice concept ideas that you employ during league season?  I am always looking to bring new ideas to my team(s) each and every year.

We did something similar to that with strikes.  We put in 5 dollars in every game, every week.  The one with the most strikes won.  Let's just say payout that final day(with the team finishing 3rd, having leauge high series, and winning all 3 10$ brackets) was a good payday for me.
