Jacksonville / Saint Augustine FL Bowling
« on: August 10, 2009, 03:09:51 AM »
I'm moving to the Jacksonville / Saint Augustine Florida area at the end of the month, and definitely want to get into a few leagues there next season. I was wondering what centers / leagues are the best, and if there are any alleys to stay away from for whatever reason.

Hoping to get some thoughts on the subject from local ballreview members. Heck maybe you're even looking for someone to fill a team. My average is going to be 220-225 on a house shot and near 200 on PBA patterns.

When I visited my mom quite a few years ago now, I open bowled at Coquina Lanes. In Palm Coast.   It is a very small house, old fashioned.  Not the cleanest.  It was summer.  I'm not sure if they had any summer lanes, but on weekend nights there was NO oil.

We didn't drive as far as Jacksonville to bowl.  Tried to stay closer to St. Augustine.
