ball thefts
« on: July 27, 2004, 10:49:07 AM »
Well i know like two yrs ago at one of the bowling alleys i had a league at, was having that problem.

One of the managers, had a ball on a lane right right in front of the front desk he was at, and someone took it.   Another lady had her ball taken, it was just a rash of stuff happening, and the people who worked at the house, figured it was alot of the Asian's who was doing that.

I also during this same time frame, someone broke into my car and took one of my bowling balls with balls and shoes in the bag.  Yet they left the brand new ball i just bought on the car floor lol.  And this happend at my house, and the funny thing was, my brother was parking his car in my spot the past couple nites but his car just happend to be in the garage, that nite, and he was keeping all his Snowboarding stuff in his car, so we figured they was looking for his car, and just went to mine cuz it was there, i just wish i could have seen thier faces when they grabbed my bag, and opened it lol.

Tonight we were discussing his stolen stuff more.
The bag itself would probably bring more money somewhere than the balls.

He doesn't plan to replace that, seemed like a hex. He bought a 3 bag for nationals. Sent it home UPS, came back damaged. Took a long time to get a replacement, it was a nicer bag than his original. It looked new.
The balls cost more but the bag looking like new would probably get more money is sold on the street.

I teased him, if he buys a new bag we'll mark it all up and make it look like garbage.
