Bowling Ball with Red Ring?

One of the guys I bowl with was saying there is an older bowling ball (maybe urethane or rubber) with a Red Ring all the way around the entire ball.  I vaguely remember seeing something like that but he is a little bit older then I.  Does anybody know the name of it and if anybody has one let me know I believe he is interested in picking one up if possible.

There was a Manhattan Rubber than I believe had a thin ring around it. Then there's the Brunswick Technology Ventures Double Helix Quantum.

theres an old rubber ball have no clue what the name of it was sittin in the pro shop that has a red or orange ring around it really think ring as well

Yes there definitely is one.  I don't know the name of it, but used to throw it frequently when I would go bowling with my friends before I ever joined a league.  The house I bowled at had one on the house ball rack.

AMF Magic Circle had a thin red line (think there was a non full roller one with a blue line too) about an 1/8 of an inch thick around the ball. And yes, the Double Helix too.

Rubber ball, late 60's, AMF - all that I am pretty certain of.  I think the name was MagicLine.

Yes that is it! My buddy has one, and there was one that was on ebay that I missed out on getting.

It is an Amflite Magic Circle. Made of rubber, and he uses it as his spare ball. I will try and get a pic of it next week...
