I bowl 2 winter leagues and try to practice 6 games a week. Each league is 33 weeks, so that is 3 times 33 = 99 games times 2 leagues = 198 games
Add to that 6 practice games times 33 weeks and that is another 198 games, so the total is now 396 games. I use primarly 2 balls most of the time, so that is almost 200 games on each ball.
Then there is the same 2 leagues in the summer of 12 weeks each league, so that is another 72 games not counting practices which is probably 36 games as I don't practice as much in the summer.
To sum it up, that is over 500 games per year, so 100 games on a newly released ball is not unrealistic.
