@bowlingnut, I drilled an Absolute Curve with the pin above my middle finger and that ball is a lot of fun to roll. I always let other bowlers roll these balls that I drill and that's why I use the Grip-Loc interchangeable thumbs. Everybody loves the AC as well as the several Elite balls that I drilled. The new stuff from Hammer is really amazing and should be a big hit. Just my $.02, Bruce

Love my Arson Low Flare, rolls really smooth and hits really dang hard. I think one of the better things about it is its versatility and it seems to respond well to several drilling patterns and surface changes.

Drill it strong and leave it at OOB and its great for medium patterns. Drill it weaker or change the surface and you have a better light oil ball or one for more burnt out patterns.

I've seen some say they own multiples with different drillings and surface preps that they keep in their bags at all times. Really would suggest that everyone try it first if your either going back or just trying out the Hammer line. Its a really solid ball.

Quite frankly there are 2-3 things that are likely responsible for the lack of "chatter" about any company on this site...

1) Facebook is becoming more utilized by almost every company out there to "hype" their equipment.

2) This ties in with the first point - More and more people are utilizing smart phones to navigate the worldwide web.  I've never viewed this site on a smart phone, but I'd think most Facebook pages would be easier to view and navigate.

3) This somewhat ties in with both previous points - This site just isn't what it used to be and people can get this sort of information elsewhere...

There are a lot of great bowling balls available.  I think bowlers aren't buying as much because of the number of releases. Many can stand to wait for them on closeout
