Have you ever bowled a team that has no understanding of bowling etiquette, equipment, or proper bowling technique, and they are all coast to coast hook with no skill, and they crush your team by like 200 pins because they carry low averages so whenever they bowl 200+, their handicap total goes through the roof?
I now have.
Our team has been moving up in the standings, I posted a few weeks ago about the communication issue we had, but I have stepped up my game and been averaging around 205 the past month or so and we are no longer in last place.
Last night's summary:
1) During practice, we were all bowling 1 shot (like you do in tournaments). They bowled 2 shots. Sometimes 3 shots I kid you not. They would pick up my spare instead of resetting and then throw 2 more shots LOL!
2) Wore sneakers instead of bowling shoes. Where is the league secretary when you need her? Oh yeah, probably the same place where my USBC membership money went...
3) They blew us out bowling 70 pins above their average PER PERSON in game 1.
4) However, I knew they couldn't pick spares when they are throwing it from 30 to 5 and back to pocket.
5) The next two games they had trouble breaking 100-120 and we won that and total pins.
Probably the sweetest victory of all times.

I still have an issue getting strikes. I left the 4 pin 6 straight times in my second game and only ended up with 580 with 215 last game. I had only 3 opens and they were all sleeper spares and splits. I made another split. My spare game is sick. Other bowlers watch me in envy as I basically roll the ball straight over the finger holes down on the same 1-2 boards. Ball literally doesn't move off the same board. Only cross maybe 5 boards on 10 pins now.
