First 700

Im sick of hearing all the ppl who post their 800's and 300's lets do one for the normal and up and coming bowlers. who remembers their first 700 series? how old were you? what were your 3 game scores. i finally did it this season. last night i threw 721 w/ 237, 216, 268.im 21.i started with the rapid fire but didnt like the look i was getting so i switched to my black widow which for some reason gave me a much nicer look. i left one open in the 2nd game which is the reason for the 216. the other two were clean games. i was so excited for myself you guys have to excuse me its my first one. i wanna hear everybody elses stories too.

Congrats on your first 700 hope you have many more. I have no idea what age I had my first 700. I can't wait to start bowling next season and go for my first 800 and another 300.

704 - 16 years old
778 - 290 244 244 - 16 years old.. 2 weeks after my 704
744 - 257 211 276 - 16 years old.. 1 month after my 778
758 - 265 248 245 - 16 years old.. this past tuesday (1-27-09_

it was a few years ago only had been bowling a few years and i was bowling against a girl that i really liked for awhile the closest she had been was 699 first game i threw the front 8 and ended up shooting 268 then followed with 243 and ended with 200 for a 711 and needless to say the girl was pissed and i loved every minuet of it.. one of the few times i enjoyed beating a girl lol... ohh and the next time i threw the front 9 and got boned by a 8 pin(lefty) ohh well she doesnt bowl anymore hope it wasnt my fault

i remember my first 700 series. summer 1997, i was 37 years old . had just taken up bowling two years earlier. i bowled a 722 in a mixed league on sunday nights....238, 248, 236. i used a polished danger zone playing a down and in shot around the 8 board on wood lanes with a guardian overlay.

I was 13 when I shot my first 700 with a Columbia yellow dot when I moved up from 12lbs to 15lbs in weight my next 700 came 3 years later with a Amf Blue angle now between 4 leagues I throw between 60-65 a year back then you earned your 700 series a 225 game would win you jackpot and the guy that averaged 195 was high in the league

Um... my first 700 was when I was 13. It was a 702 I believe, don't remember the games tho =[. My highest 700 and my record is 782, had 503 going into the last game, I had the front 8 the 9 spare struck out for a 279. I was pretty pissed about missing that 800.

My first 700 was when I was either 14 or 15, I forget. I also forget the 3 scores, all I remember is 741 with a 290 as a high game (left a light pocket 5 pin first frame, struck out). I was using a very even rolling Track Arsenal Artillery. Ended up hating the ball every game after that series. Same with my Hammer Sauce after shooting 300/804 with it, LOL. I don't know.

First 700 came when I was 17.

Shot 245 + 244 + 269 = 758 with my SR300. Previous high was 690, and haven't shot 700 since. Haha, my mentality in the last game was "Don't screw up, take your time." I played conservatively, and ended up shooting higher than the other two. Great Wall of China sure has a way to make me feel good.

if you shot a 700 series during a sweeper it could still be official. was the tournament usbc sanctioned ? if it was then you had to bowl the 700 series in the proper sequence: it would have to have been in games 1,2, and 3 or games 4,5,and 6 or games 7,8, and 9... you get the idea ?

Congrats on your first 700! I bowled my first sanctioned a 701 earlier this league season and had my second a 702 Thursday!

Keep throwing and the 700's will continue to come.

I was 13 i believe no older than 14 it was a 703 dont remember exact score, but when i was 11 i shot my first 600 and it was a 690 lol almost skipped 600's all together lol

i just wanna get to 700 my high is 666 and i havent sold my soul yet started bowling again in oct. after five year of not bowling bowled straight years ago decided to learn how to do it again still need to learn more but am not in a hurry . joined league in jan. 3rd league wed night dry lanes use cell pearl i think its to dry for that ball. i just ordered the blue vibe should get it tuesday in time for next league night , thought about chainsaw maybe in a month if i have the cash any input? i throw 13mph med revs.

I shot my first 700, a 721, with the Pearl Columbia Beast when I was 12.  My dad was so proud of me, I'll never forget it
