I believe it was a White Dot. I was out of high school, and it was around $30 drilled.

I was 23-24 when I got my first one, was a Columbia Blood Red Beast. If I had gotten into it earlier though I had ( and still have) an undrilled Ace Pro Hard Rubber ball sitting at the house.

Light Blue Columbia White Dot. 8lb. I was 5. I was granny bowling with house balls for 2 years before that.
Still have that White Dot. picked up my first two splits with it, and they were back to back.. 5-7 followed by a 4-5.
