Basically the best thing to do is take the ball to a reputable pro shop, do a proper oil extraction in the rejuvenator oven (pro shop will know what you mean, if they don't then find another) and a proper resurface with polish (BOWLING BALL SPECIFIC POLISH as you want a shine).
If you do this it will highly likely that will be what you are looking for. Do you have details on the ball, layout, your style..........?
