first night in league bowling 2 handed - results
« on: April 06, 2010, 03:11:14 PM »
first night using the 2 handed delivery where it counted I did okay with it
shot 755 for a 3 game set and it would have been higher but the second game I chopped 3-6-10 spare on my first ball in the tenth and was on 4 strikes going into the 10th

I was using a Roto Grip Mars drilled pin up over ring finger CG stacked at OOB surface
gave me a good look all night
I was pretty comfortable throwing all night, no soreness in my wrist or shoulder like Ive been experiencing lately bowling 1 handed
I was at or within 2 boards of my mark most of the night, I had a few shots that I pulled maybe 3 the whole night
had great pin carry only left 1 single 10 pin all night, and a few stone 9 pins
I was pretty happy with the results Im really thinking about fully switching over
I have a local tournament on Sun coming up that Im debating on whether or not I should bowl normally or 2 handed ?

Okay, so it seems I should move the ball quicker which should in turn cause my feet to move quicker and hopefully get that skip-skip in there.  If/when I give it another shot, I will probably try to exaggerate it too.  I'm thinking I should almost try to "jump" into the slide?  Not too sure about Jason but I believe Osku is has a defined moment where he is off the approach so that's what I'm referring to.  Other than that getting lower with my knees and body, as well as opening the body, are areas to improve.

yeah a faster overall motion in your approach will help with the speed,
and really shoot to get that skip step in there
if you watch in slow motion jason also gets completely off the ground at some point during that skip step motion
