I seem to recall a previous discussion about 'bagging that got rather heated. Well, I'm about to start the first league that I've been in in 17 years, and I'm going to do my best, handicap be damned. I'm sure there will be a few nights where I bowl much over my average and a few where I'm much under. It happens. But it all averages out in the end, right? I'm just happy to be out there, meeting new people, trying to beat my personal bests, and having a good time. I'm not concerned with how well other people bowl, since I'm not trying to make a living at it. I will watch and learn and perhaps try to import a few things I see into the way I bowl to make me better. It's a never ending ambition. It's like the way you look at "quality." It's not a destination, it's a process. Always do your best and keep your integrity. It’s one thing no one can ever take away from you.
