team mates
« on: February 26, 2005, 12:47:04 AM »
Has anyone had a problem with keeping the same
teammates after bowling is done with. For the last 4
years I have always switched one bowler every year this
year is gonna be 2. The 2 happen to be my own brothers.
There additude is bringing everybody on the team down.
It's no fun bowling with my brothers, bad to say that, but
it's true. Just wanting to know if anybody else has had the
same problem. thanks

I change teammates all the time. I dont view it as a problem, in that I enjoy bowling with different people. The Friday Night League I bowl in, I will have bowled 6 seasons with 6 different teams (at least 2 different bowlers each time) and if we win this half---we will have won 5 out of the 6 years.

I bowled on 1 5 man team that won a league back to back seasons. I bowled on 1 4 man team that stayed together for 3 years---2 wins and a 2nd. For the most part though, I change my teams around all the time. Why? I dont know. I just enjoy different people. I also bowl with alot of younger bowlers so things in their lives change. They move away or get new jobs or get married or whatever. Just one of those things. Change is inevitable. For me, I look at it as a constant fresh start.
