Flare hole/weight hole
« on: November 28, 2005, 12:21:58 PM »
My GP2 has a small weight hole in it now. How would a bigger/deeper one change the ball reaction? I"m not really too familiar with the flare/weight hole, and just wanted some insight. thanks.

If you just make the hole deeper and wider without changing the drill on the ball it may well make it negative weighted. It may even make it illegal.
I dont know if you just planned a self drill on the ball thats why I brought this up. Just looked at your profile so its probably not what you had in mind but I'll leave it here just incase someone had that idea.
If you want to know the difference, then as Bob says. Top guy our Bob.
