Bad House
« on: December 19, 2003, 05:10:26 AM »
What can I do? My new house that I am bowling at has changed there shot every time the last 4 weeks. At my old house, they changed the shot very rarely, and my average increased dramatically, but now its suffering.

My house used to have a long, med-heavy to heavy house shot. Is there anythinI can do?

Thanks

Not to sound rude, but changing lanes are your best friend if you are wanting to LEARN how to bowl. Learn to adjust and you can bowl anywhere.

Practice practice practice I see on your profile that you have a lot of equipment so you have to learn when to change balls at the proper time. The most important thing is your basics throw the ball the same way each and every time it doesn't have to be textbook but it does have to be the same each time. Also you may want to practice changing speeds on ball but only after you have basics down. It is a blessing in disguise the condition changing because as you learn to adjust your skill will grow. I just purchased a new track phenom unleashed and they changed our conditions now I can only bowl first game with it and I have to change balls don't be afraid to change have confidence in your ability good bowling and GOD Bless

Where I bowl at we are going through the same thing as you.  The house I bowl at is using a new oil and is having a difficult time getting it adjusted the way they want it to be.  Give it some time to stabilize and go do some open bowling and try a few things to see if you can find a line that might work better for league for you.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but, this house just was transformed into Brunswick Zone Lakewood instead of Broadmore Bowl.

To Soulphish and RileyBowler, good point, I never thought of it that way, I guess in the long run it will help me over hurt me
