Flash point vs Prime time
« on: January 22, 2004, 09:41:46 AM »
My girlfriends dad is looking for a new ball.  He would like something that hooks a little more than his Maroon hammer(newer one with a core) and has a nice strong arc/snappy backend, and mid-priced.  He throws the ball about 17 to 20 mph, lower to med revs and usually plays the 2nd arrow.  I looked around and I thought one of these 2 could be a good choice, anyone have any feed back on these 2 balls or if someone else has a better idea please tell me.  Thanks

Well what surface does his hammer have...polished / sanded?  Maroon hammer...don't you mean burgundy?

Regardless I would look into a ball that will offer him some of the control that he is used to and a non-pearlized ball.  I would look into something like a Storm Super Charge, Ebonite V2 Sanded or one of the Hammer Diesels.

A friend has the Flash Point and he has trouble with it. He has a slower speed about 14 mph and hes constantly missing brooklyn.
I myself have a Thing Returns and a similar style to your girlfriends dad and it suits me well.
I cant say wether the Flashpoint would suit me as I cant get my hand in his ball to tell. So not much use to you really was it?
