Why do people have to be so rude??
« on: December 15, 2004, 10:01:22 PM »
I just had something really amazing happen. There was another br.com member that had posted a ball for sale post (I won't mention his name but I should because he is a 1st class jerk) and I noticed another member had ask if it was NIB and I noticed the original post said it had a few games on it so I posted something saying it was NOT NIB because the seller had said it had a few games in it.. I am guessing the user asking if it was NIB missed that point, so I thought I would be helpful and verify the ball was not NIB.

I then get a private message from the seller asking me if I am still interested in the ball and I replied saying I never had any interest in the ball and that I was just trying to help him out by clarifying his post and he replied back and said that he never ask for my help..

I never said anything rude or spoke bad about the seller, just trying to help him out and he gets an attitude with me.. People like that are why this site is going down the tubes..

I guess scrooge is alive and well this christmas..

You meet those kind of people no matter where you go! The trick is to separate the GOOD from the BAD then you know how to handle them!

jkiser01 I understand where you are coming from and helping someone is what this site is supposed to be about.

One problem I have had with this site is that with the amount of posts in Trades/For Sale/Wanted and this site being totally free unlike eBay is that hey it didn't cost anybody anything to make your deal so what do you expect????

Adults should treat other adults how they expect to be treated.  Problem is a few don't but again it doesn't cost anything on this site to use the Trades/For Sale/Wanted forum.

Btw--I have done a few trades, a few balls sold and bought for the most part I hope everyone felt I gave them a decent deal and shipped or paid promptly.  One bought ball this year turned out not to be the weight I wanted but oh well that's my fault for not be very specific.  Chalk it up to experience.
