Title: Forget Winston-Salem: Better idea for BR gathering

What do you say we hold it up in Carthage, NY with Robby and the good old boys?  The Bragging Rights tournament format would be that whoever *doesn't* strike first, wins.  Because it seems like it'd be more difficult to leave something on the deck than it is not to...

So guys, what do you think of the plan?

I've got a better idea than that...get ol' Rob to come down to a little place called Leland Lanes in Tuscaloosa, Ala. As of 2000, they were still laying down a completely flat -- COMPLETELY flat -- shot as their THC. Things may have changed since I last bowled there (I'm going to try it out again the weekend of April 1 when I go down to visit friends), but if it's still the same pattern, ol' Rob wouldn't be able to bowl his weight, even with no-tap rules, much less a nine-spot.

carthage? isint that were the 900 kid bowls, I say we all go there and roll a set, there should be at least a few more 900's to add to the great wall of chinas house

Aw, come on you guys... If any of the ball reviews gurus bowled at Carthage, we'd just have 'em set up 11 pins and shoot 330 a game - and a 990 series...
