Free Ball League - What to get
« on: April 27, 2007, 01:19:28 AM »
I'm joining a 6 for $60 league over the summer and the Pro-Shop operator is giving those who don't want the free ball credit toward anything they would want. I'm not sure what to get. I've thrown my highest scores to date with my Sapphire Zone and Turbo X (both of which I'm still using on a regular basis). I like the reaction I get from these balls. I've been looking at a few different options such as a No Mercy, Black Widow, TNV or Absolute if he can still find one. Any suggestions or opinions would be great.

I think the hammer high-rev's were supposed to be a similar reaction to the old 3-d violet offsets.  If you like the look and reaction of the older resin equipment (turbo x etc), maybe this would be a decent choice...  I don't think that they are in the current line, but should be able to still find them out there.

The reason I purchased the Turbo X and the Sapphire Zone was because the were the most aggressive balls on the market. Maybe that is the better question. What is the most aggressive ball on the market at this point in time? Keep in mind that I throw mainly Ebonite, Hammer and Big B but I'll try just about anything.
