have you ever had a ball and just hate to throw it? i have a fairly new duece, about 50 games on it, and i hate it. EVERY time i throw it i hate every moment of it. it there a way i can change this besides getting rid of it, maybe gettin it redrilled. what about you?

Haha, it's especially terrible with a new ball, because you WANT to throw it.  I've had two I've absolutely HATED, and I don't usually hate equipment, because it's the bowler anyway, right?  There are balls that don't fit my game, but there have been a couple I've thrown that were beyond worthless for me.

I purchased a Jekyll that I hated on the lanes I threw it on.  The ball was was to over/under, sometimes hooking off the lane and others going dead straight.  I used it for 2 weeks and put it in the bag for months.  I thought about pitching it, but never did.  Anyways one day I ran into some dry lanes, and ran outta options.  I decided to give the Jekyll a shot for kicks, and started the ball started going good!  Couldn't believe it.  Later, I went to another house and again noticed my ball burning out.  Brought out the Jekyll and again had some great games.  So now it stays around for the dry houses.

Sell it now.. Not every ball is for every bowler. Maybe its just not the ball for you.. You will more than likely never be happy with it and if you plug it and redrill again, the resale value will go down considerably because of the 2nd drill..

i was extremely depressed after throwing my track freak.  so i got a freak out when it hit the pro shop, and i got depressed again!!

btw, the hammer vicious particle is an awesome ball.  i won't leave home without it!!  i have two of them, one drilled to go longer, and i couldn't be happier.  next to my lane #1's, i love my hammers!!!

most of my balls that i wasn't too crazy about i gave away to high school kids or my teammates.
