FRUSTRATED/DISCOURAGED
« on: January 13, 2004, 03:36:30 AM »
Last night was yet "another" night where I have had 14 in a row (8 out in the 2nd game and then the front six), and then a stone 10 pin, then punching out the rest of the way.  I have had 3 279 games in the last 6 weeks, and nearly got my 800.  I threw every shot in the pocket in that third game, with the solid 10 not falling.  I see people that are not averaging what I am, or they just chuck the ball down getting on the nose strikes.  I have really been happy for them, BUT I am getting discouraged, as I am flirting all around it, yet I am honor scoreless.  I know that it will come, and it is not so much the wait as it is coming so close several times, especially when the reason for missing the mark IS NOT from being nervous.  Thanks for letting me vent and get that off my mind to some who will care.

Dave

Sawmill,

I know with your talent and mental attitude that it is only a matter of time before you report back here with your honor score(s).  Keep on keepin' on.

Jeffrevs,

I feel your pain.  I am happy when I can get more than one turkey in a series.

Excuse me, I have to go plan a clinic with Ron.
