Ok folks. If drilling fingerholes only for a two-handed no thumb bowler who usually has a full-roller track, where do you put the pin?

Keep in mind, to be legal the CG must be in the bridge or very close to it. Still put the pin at around the 4:30 position relative to the CG and fingerhole orientation?

Please help me out here, thanks.

I've never drilled for a no-thumb full roller, so this response is "best guess". Not drilling the thumb hole shouldn't affect the track location substantially, so I would use one of the regular full roller layouts. USBC has revised the static weight limits for no-thumb balls so that the top weight spec is now 3 oz instead of 1 oz, so it's not quite as difficult to keep a no-thumb ball legal, especially when using a balance hole. If he is a true full roller and your not drilling a thumb I would place the pin according to his PAP since there is no thumb to hit.

But you still have to be concerned about flaring into the finger holes. -- JohnP
