Just wanted everyone to know that our team won the league championship last night! It is the first time for us as a team on Tuesday night. We have been close before, second twice in two years so I’m excited about this one. What makes it nice it is a 16 team mix doubles league? My wife, daughter, and best friend are on my team. My daughter has never bowled in a league before this year and during the first half we finished in 6th. The second half we never were out of 1st place. We had a three game roll off with the 1st place 1st half team last night. We won 2 out of 3.
Also our team took high team series; I took high individual series (761), and high league average of 207. So all in all a good night for our team. Also some great PR for my company (Tyson Foods). They have been “very†good to us over the past few years. New shirts every year, full sponsorship in three tournaments + rooms for the entire team each year! So it is nice to show it wasn’t all for nothing. My men’s team on Thursday night won the 1st half so we are in the roll off on that night also.
Anyway, thanks for listening. It just feels good to finally accomplish some of the goals we set at the beginning of the season.
