Title: Fun Night of Bowling

Every once in a while, it seems you just need a night to remind how awesome this game really is...and tonight was that night me.  I've been bowling in a 4 person team youth/adult league for many many years...both as a junior and adult.  Nothing to serious, but something to keep ya busy during the summer.  Never the less, after 5 or 6 straight years of finishing in the runner up position, it kind of gets to you.  This years team is probably the strongest I have been on, and through 5 weeks, we were sitting in first coming into the first position round.  The problem however, was the bowlout one of the kids left us to work with.  I won't get into the specifics, but it was a sub 400 series from a 185 average bowler.  So along with the handicap we had to make up, we had to recover from these games as well.  We were joking around before we started about having to put up like 2200-2300 between the three of us to make up everything.  
We come out of the gates the first game huge...through 8 frames...our junior there has the front 8, I can strike out for 269, and the other adult has the front 8...the youth finishes up with 266, I go 269, and the other guy goes 299, so a nice 834 out of the three of us...and we won by a decent amount
Second game was not as hot as the first game, but we still put it together very big in the 10th frame, with both myself and the anchor striking out to win by 7 pins
Third game saw myself and the anchor come out strong again, and once again we made up the final sticks in the 10th frame for a sweep
Our youth bowler went 644, I went 774, and our anchor went 797...so 2215 between the three of us
Granted it was a fresh house shot and we caught a few breaks here and there...but it was the most fun I've had just bowling in a long time and definitely reminded me of why I shoe up every single opportunity I get.  Sorry for this running a bit long...but I felt compelled to tell someone
