Wanted: PBA Oil Pattern Spreadsheets
« on: February 01, 2006, 12:07:40 AM »
I'm interested in getting the spreadsheets for the Chameleon, Cheetah, Scorpion, Shark, and Viper patterns.  The PBA site gives a spreadsheet for the "typical league pattern", but I can't find it for the others.

Can one of you point me in the right direction?

They sell that info.  I doubt you are going to get it for free.

Thanks guys.  I wanted them for my own curiosity more than anything.  I have a big ole file of bowling info that I wanted to add them to.

I would love if my Thursday league implemented a similar pattern though.

Thanks again.

With a little effort and URL manipulation, you can get all of those off the PBA website.  Check out the page for the USBS Masters pattern, there's a spreadsheet link there.  A little trial-and-error and you'll have what you're looking for.

Turns out they go up to 16 or 17.  Maybe higher, I can't remember.  I have them all saved at home.

It looks like they removed the links but not the files earlier this year when they decided that you weren't really free to use the PBA patterns without paying for them.  Silly, I think.  But I saved 'em just the same, just in case they wised up.
