X-outs and 2nds for $30 more then 1st....BRILLIANT

 Just got an email about some "pro pin" and "pro cg" bowling balls and thought Id check them out. Use to be priced a decent amount less in times past but more recently were only $10 less then first quality equipment. It was a surprise to see they were on sale for almost $30 more then the first quality balls. I couldnt stop laughing when I saw the prices. Im not sure many people would pay that much extra for a ball with a 5"+ pin or a cg that is 1.5" or more out of line from the pin/mb.

That is a very optimistic sales person for sure.

You act like this is new....it has been a few years ago these went from 2nds and X-Outs to "Pro" balls. "Pro-Pin" and "Pro-CG" so the amateurs can drill balls with the "exotic" drillings the pros use. And that privilege comes with a price don't you know.

You can get NIB 1st quality Theory for $89.99 but the pro pins/CGs are $169.99!!    What a deal!!!!

No, the deal is the $50 off to 89.99.  Down from 104.99!  That's the best $50 savings ever!

 

As for the general post, I use really long pins and appreciate them at least being labeled Pro Pin instead of X-Out of Blem.  Those are very generic terms and a lot of the time people don't know the reason they're labeled that way.  Pro Pin is pretty self explanatory and easy to search for.  No reason for them to be so expensive, but I at least like the title.

 Its funny  because you know the ball is cheaper then a first and the selling price went up. Youd think it was a local gas station.
