The other day while practicing i threw a shot that came up a lil light..I was expecting a bucket or something familiar.  Instead i leave a 4-5-10 Split.   WTF!!!!!!!Never seen anything like it.  And i throw 16 lbs....just thought i'd share..anyone else leave anything odd?

I leave that sometimes on light oil shots when I am coming up the back of the ball to lower total hook. My favorites include the 2-5-10, the 1-6-7, the 7-8-10 and just yesterday I saw a friend(right handed) leave the 1-3-5-7 and 3-6-7-9 in the same game.

Friday night in league, in the same game I left a pocket 9-10 and a pocket 6 pin. Needless to say I was amused and dumbfounded at what I was looking at. Happy to say I made both of them

You want to talk strange pocket shots, one in a million I saw a guy crush the pocket and leave the 10 balance perfectly at an angle. The deck came down and picked it up in the 9 pin spot. I wish we had it on camera but he did it in front of about 20 youth bowlers he was coaching. I also watched late in a tournament a pin slid from 10 pin to 7 pin and stayed standing. The video used to be on Youtube but is gone. I'm going to try to track it down.

methinks the bowling gods were trying to tell you you should work on 10 pins more

at state tournament a few years ago i left a 3-5-7..without even hitting the headpin.  picked it up, tho that was a little bit easier than the 3-7.  i also remember as a kid leaving the 7-8-10 and picking that up as well.

I got one , listen to this

It was some years back, I was using a COLUMBIA AFTERSHOCK PEARL, packed it in the 1-3 pocket, I mean blew the rack sent the head pin off the wall and it BOUNCED back up and landed in the 10 pin spot and the rack picked it up!

I was like WTFFFFF....LMAOOOOOOO..ONLY I could do that crap!

My team mates talked about that for years...I bet that they are stilll tellin that story!

Its not a weird pin count of anything, but in my league last night I saw more 8-10s left than I have ever seen before.  After sundays show, I just had to laugh.

There were more guys yelling "Walter Ray!"...definitely an intersting night.

I have seen a few 2-4-5-8-10 in my time.  Haven't left it myself, but other than missing the headpin and having pins just fall into a mess, that is one of the more unfortunate leaves I have seen.

I left a pocket 9-10 a few weeks ago.  I have never seen the 9-10 left before that.  I just assumed it was a bad rack combined with a little too much angle.

Not to rare but I left 2 7-10 flush pocket hits in one game Sunday night with one in the tenth frame and still managed to shoot 213 needles to say I was not a happy camper.

I bowled in the Allentown college tournament at Rosebowl a few weeks ago. Witnessed some weird things haha. Saw a guy knock down the ten and bounce back up into the nine pin spot. Only ever seen that twice, a pin standing back up. And a guy after the front 11, stone 8. Beautiful shot but God hates him haha.
