"The shot this year will be tough, fair and playable."

That's what the man said.
So, first game out of the box I shoot 258.  I hit the 3 board twice, the 11 board once, the 5 board at least twice, the 8 board 3 or 4 times,  and the 10 board at least once.  I left two 4 pins when I threw it badly, not because I missed my target (whatever that was.)

Second and third games the oil transitions to where anything at 6 or out went nose or brooklyn (further right = further left at head pin).  Anything from 10 to 12 rung a 10 pin.

I don't really consider this shot to be tough, fair and playable.  Playable, yes, for one game; tough, maybe for two games (though I think if I could slide and had a milder ball it wasn't really that tough); fair?  who knows?

opinions?

Rags,

I concur mightily.  Same thing here. And you are right about the milder ball thing.

Got a centaur blue/green, moved right a couple of boards, and am averaging about 245 now.

Fair? I guess because everyone has the same shot here. Playable? Yea, I guess. I shot 793 using 3-4 boards to the pocket and they all struck as long as I kept my speed up.

  Challenging? NO
