killswitch66--Because the lanes are stripped does not necessarily mean they are dry.  They may just have more backend than you are used to....yes or no?  Can you say that medium type balls are moving early?   Are the heads torched/burnt?  Can you move in to catch some oil or scuff up cover to tame down reaction off oil on clean backends.  What is your technique?  Revs, speed, axis tilt, etc.  All of these need to be put in the equation.  Just getting a dry lane or light oil ball may not be the remedy.   JMO.

The Blazing Inferno is by far the best I've ever used. Drilled right, it can do anything you want and still crush the pocket.

I picked up a XXXL and drilled it max leverage after reading and askign questions here about how to set it up.
Although I don't get to use it often, whn I do I can still play pretty much up the 10 board because of the plastic coverstock, yet still carry fairly well because of having a dynamic core.
Pulled it out one night when any resin you threw was hitting the 2-4 area no matter how hard you threw or how deep you moved.
First 7,fast 8 spare, stike again in 9,ten pin and spare for 257,when everyone around me was struggling.

Aside from the desert heat I heard that the smoking inferno has tremendous length.

I would say the Storm Hit or Tropical Storm.  Gives you a smooth movement on dry lanes.  No overreactions with this ball.
