If you're using Windows Movie Maker, isn't there a rotate 90 degrees effect?

Are you sure you don't have it, it comes with Windows XP and you will find it in:
Start>All Programs>Accessories>Windows Movie Maker or if it is in it's default location it can be found here C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\moviemk.exe
