and sent me 3 "actual" real photos through email?.
just looking for opinions before i go ahead and buy it.
price seems too good to be true (it usually is right?), hes selling 30 quantum double helixes for $50 plus shipping each, new and undrilled.

Someone has 50 NIB quantum double helixes, and is selling them for 50 bucks each? Uh....

Wouldnt trust them at all!
-
Nope. Put them on your "my ebay" favorite sellers list, and watch them for a while.. If they seem above board, go for it. Otherwise, forget it...
Pics can be copied.

Just looked at the listing. Dont do it yet! Wait until the dude gets some feedback! He dosent even have a shipping amount listed! I always consider that fishy! No pictures to boot!
-
So how exactly is the guy supposed to get feedback if no one will buy from him till he gets feedback? If you're gonna buy stuff from a faceless internet source, you run the risk, regardless of how "great" someone's feedback is. The only way to be risk free is if you can put your hands on the merchandise

What are you gonna do? Beat me with your Jesus stick?

How this guy gets feedback and starts his reputation is not my problem to worry about!!!

The auction says he has 30 of them. Not 50

Its new and undrilled, but also is stated as a "Rt handed ball". eh??
-
well, it's not totally unbelieveable. I bought a helix from a shop in the same area as this one 5 yrs ago for $60!!! It was NIB, and they had about 40 available!!

Here is all his listings. click on some of them and look at how many of everything he claims to have! Some balls he claims to have 80 and 90 of and most others he has 40 and 50 of each. Seems strange to me.

That's normal. The helixes were special in that they had a strip of cover that was a different material than the rest. You had to line that up with the oil track of your ball. So it had to be facing a certain direction, making them right and left handed. It was ambitious by brunswick but obviously didn't go over huge.

i emailed one of the buy it now people that bit on this listing and this is what i got..
"Well he didn't give me any info really that influenced me. He was just really honest and fairly quick with his responses to any questions I had. He also worked with me on the shipping terms. I didn't want it sent Parcel Post, because I just had an issue with that, It took me 1 month to receive a bowling ball from another seller who used Parcel Post. I just didn't get any negative feelings about it. His honesty was the number one thing. He sent you pictures of the helixes? Interesting Would happen to still have them I'd love to see them. I have this ball already and its my baby, I absolutely love it,and Who could really beat 50 bucks? Ya Know. Get back to me on the photos."
Thanks for the question also. Have a nice weekend
i have one question to ask...
DEAL.... or NO DEAL?

I never trust ebay.
I got ripped a bunch of money(more than $500) on a person that did that. the "real" pics ended up being copy and pastes of an older ebay auction.
just my two cents. . .

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

this gal is for real, i got about 12 pictures from her.
i ordered 3 and got to pick which ones out of 7 her father took from the warehouse to her house. former bowling alley owner, getting rid of "space" from the warehouse.
i warn you though, she said the specs that i wanted 2-4" PIN and 2.5-3.5 top were tough to come by in the remaining 25.
so put your orders in quick, this is a once in a lifetime opporitunity to get one of the most devistating balls in your arsenal for CHEAP!

Why did whoever bought one from her not leave feedback yet? It'd be nice for her to get at least one good feedback so people aren't so scared to deal with her.

um, because we havent recieved them yet?
thats how ebay works, sellers (are supposed to) leave feedback after payment
buyers leave feedback after the product is recieved.
-
i'd keep the tops low
you need to lay it out based on your track, thats where the urethane strip will go, so, you need to be flexable with the CG.
thats why i requested 2.2-2.7 incase the cg is misaligned to the right or left.
she showed me the boxes i could choose from so i know what im getting.
anyone who passes this deal up is a fool.
here is the link, just copy and paste, then increment the end number until 12 to see them all.

-
$25 OH to NY for 3
-
I only live probably an hour away maybe I should just go pay cash for one?

it'll cost you more in gas both ways, than the $8-$9 you'd pay in shipping she would charge you.
shes really nice, very helpful, email her with your request, she'll get back to you within the nite, i get emails from her at 1AM. her name is Sami.
-
