How can i work on doing this? i took some video and noticed that i come out away from my slide foot a good deal.

Is this a timing issue? I took vid but lost my software so i cant upload to the pc, its so weak.

You can think about it.

Dave Davis one of the all time greats works on this for almost 45 minutes ever practice session!!!

Doesn't even care where ball goes.

Has an observer tell him every throw. "1 inch, two inches, 1 inch, 2 1/2 inches, 1 inch".

Like that.

45 minutes a day, 40 years and you might have a few major titles also!

Yea, im not really converned with it but i know that i lose leverage doing this.

So i woudl like to try to improve on this.

Watch the video and notice your slide... is it going straight, is it moving away from your target? Slide your leg under your body (toward your target... dont require your body to move over top your slide leg.. this will bring the ball up next to you ankle. I always try to slide toward my target.. I am typically within .5" from my ankle and actually graze my sock or shoe a good percentage of the time.
