It all depends on what has changed from when you weren't tired during bowling.

How old are you?
Do you have any current ailments?
Are you doing anything different during the day (assuming it's an evening league)?
Are you sleeping normally, i.e. getting 6 - 8 hours regularly?
etc.

That's not much to go on. Perhaps by the time Saturday evening rolls around you are exhausted from 5 days of normal work and a Saturday of doing all the household chores you didn't do during the week???

I agree that you don't give us much to go on, so I have a couple of questions.  Do you regularly exercise?  Does your body shape resemble a bowling ball?

If you don't exercise, the age of 40 could be a tipping point where you need to start an exercise program because your body can't handle bowling anymore and other activities will soon become difficult to finish as well.  If your body resembles a bowling ball, your body might be saying it can't handle the weight anymore and you need to lose some.  The weight loss could possibly give you your energy back because your body doesn't to work as hard.

On the other hand, if you regularly exercise and are in good physical shape, it might be a mental thing where you are burnt out or bored and need a break.

There Many reasons why you get tired that early in the evening. Only a Dr. Can help figure that out. It can range from low testosterone to having sleep apnea; to being out of shape and/or over weight; to improper diet prior to leagues or not eating at all prior to league. And your mental state plays a roll too.... We don't know... It can be something simple to something with potential to cause serious health issues.

See a doctor...I did...

Agreed. At 40 years old, you should be able to bowl 5-10 games a day without difficulty or fatigue.

If you've eliminated all the obvious reasons (physically wearing job, lack of sleep, etc.) it's time to see a doctor. You're just going to get a lot of moon shoot guesses here.

My league is 915pm...I get tired, its due to working all day then going back out at 830pm and bowling. Try to eat some carbs or an energy drink like Red Bull or Monster energy. Also stretch before you bowl, get the blood flowing etc..

I bowl second shift too. I used to get tired around 8. There were times I skipped out so to rest. Bowling tired was demoralizing too. But one day after a dr. Visit and some testing, I'm no longer tired at 8pm. In fact, I'm get less hours of sleep sometimes when I'm on call and still have energy to bowl, get home by 12-1 am and wake up at 5am and do it over again.

I worked in a trauma 1 hospital and with over 400 rooms for patients. I was tired. Even when I transfered to specially and the job got easier, I was tired. Even with 7 to 8 hours of sleep, I got tired early in the day and evening.

But with crank, I was no longer tired.... Lol just kidding.... Seriously, I had sleeping problem and it got corrected. Even with less hours of sleep, I can function till I go to bed in the late nights.

Also get some blood work done..You could have anemia. I have it and try to control it by taking iron supplements.

Bowling with seniors or very slow bowlers can cause other bowlers to get tired lol.

HAHAHA.. which one? the senior? or the guy that takes 1 minute on the approach?

In any case, I've had my tail whipped by seniors.... "ben gay", "absorbent Jr.", and "Salompas". Yeah don't mess with these seniors. lol
