I only just realised how suss that topic sounds. BUT, on a more serious side, my girlfriend has decied to buy a few new BOWLING balls. She wants one for Med-Light, and one for Medium-Heavey oil. She bowls about about 21km/h, low-average revs, and normally bowls bowls on fairly dry lanes. An suggestions, i know this is a pretty scratchy discription of how she bowls, but i just wanted some general ideas. Her coach recomends a Illusion, any thoughts on that? She currently bowls with a Vortex 1, and is gettin a Cuda/c 2000 drilled tomorrow.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
good luck and high scoring

For those metrically challenged that's approx 14 mph for
Matt's girlfriend's ball speed.

He who bowls last, he's an anchor.
And that's not always a good thing.

haha thanks Zman, yea it woudl be about that, 14mph sounds pretty much right for the way kim bowls. So any suggestions? I was maybe thinking an eraser blaze for light-medium oil, and maybe a X factor for heavey oil??? Her coach doesnt want her to get a particle ball, and i agree with him, she doesnt have the speed for one, and doesnt see enough oil to warrent one.
Good luck and high scoring

My wife uses a Ti Beast and a Cranberry Pearl Groove. She's a bit speed challenged as well, although probably closer to the 20 kph mark.
She used to have a green messenger, but she hooked it from gutter to gutter.

Matt,
I wish I hd known..I have a slightly used 13# PowerCharge here that I have plugged up and am reselling. A customer had it and it got stuck in the ball return with a nice slice in it.
I fixed it and except for a little mark here or there.
I am letting it go cheap just to get the new one paid for...

Well Matt even though I'm a lane 1 nut, I bought the wife a 13# Blade. Sounds like your g/f and her have the same specs except my better half is a lefty.
So far she's been shooting about 20-30 pins over average with the blade. Might have to try one myself.
