"If you do not have one of these then I suggest you visit your local pro shop and get you one of these today!"

Why? Because they were the top sellers? That just might be the worst reason I have ever heard for buying a bowling ball. And to think there are posts here asking why bowlers don''t listen to pro shop owners. THIS is why.

First where does it say T.J. Yeip is a pro shop owner...

I believe he works for a distributor...

Now you may have a point about buying a ball only because it is a top seller...

But that does not make them a bad ball...

The reason they are indeed a "top seller"  is maybe due to the fact that they are indeed a good ball...

And bowlers see boo koo other bowlers using them...

There is a reason they are the best sellers. Pro shop operators recommend stuff because they work. All of these pieces work wonderfully.

I didn''t say anything about T. J. Yeip being a pro shop owner. However, the following line does make the statement about his "credentials."

T.J. Yeip is the Manager of GLC Bowling and the Lead Technical Advisor. He is an IBPSIA Advanced Certified Member and former PBA member. He is a USBC Certified Coach.

So excuse me if I am lead to believe that this guy is supposed to be someone who knows what a bowler needs. Just like a Pro Shop owner should know.

Again, read the post. He doesn''t make the case of WHY you would need one of these balls, other than if you don''t currently have one and a lot of people are buying these.

I remember a lot of people buying Pet Rocks, Mood Rings and Beanie Babies too. That doesn''t make the case to go buy them yourself if you don''t have one.

Now what makes sense about that? Maybe, just maybe, the ball currently owned by said bowler works just fine.

The reason they are the best sellers is advertising.

That is your opinion.  Everyone has a company they like over the other.  I think 900 Global/AMF is the best.  If more pro shops would carry their products, they could sell just as well as Storm.

Why is there more oil in the parking lot then on the lanes I bowl on?

Hey, I've been to that shop!

I actually picked up my used drilling equipment less than 5 miles from their shop.

Stopped by to see if they would sell me a quarter scale and gauges - but they don't carry that in the shop.....and they don't sell to garage hole pounders!
