Golf glove for bowling?.....

Has anyone tried the golf glove for bowling? The one like Jeff Carter or Pete Weber use. I have struggled the last months with blisters and I would like to hear experiences with the glove. Is the difference in hole sizes (or inserts)  considerable in order that I have to change all my balls? For someone suffering with blisters is it worth it? Thank you in advance for all your comments.

I have seen it done by a lady that I bowl with.  She is allergic to the inserts and must wear something to protect her skin.  She told me that she had to get use to the feel of the glove and change insert size, but besides that it works great.  Her husband owns the proshop so changing inserts wasn't a problem.  She did cut the index and pinky finger off the glove to get a better feel for the ball on release.

I do use the golf glove with vacu-style finger inserts, and I'm very satisfied with it.  You would need to go up a size (maybe only a 1/2-size); the glove does make your fingers thicker.  One benefit for me is that I no longer have the brown blister burns on my fingertips--for me that does make it worth it; I can also attribute that in part to improving my game where I no longer have to "rip the cover off the ball" to generate power.

If you want one of those things made especially for bowling (I think Pete and Jeff use an Etonic golf glove), Ebonite makes a glove called the ProTector that has a full hand minus the thumb. It's very sharp -- black cabretta leather with red trim -- and it's not much more expensive than a standard glove.

Also, it has the added benefit of having velcro straps on the fingers, which prevent the leather on fingers 3 and 4 from pulling away and stretching when you throw.
