I joined a Tuesday night scratch league that rotates varying National Tournament conditions in 3 week blocks. We have already bowled on the 2001 US Open pattern and the 2002 Masters pattern. Tonight is week 2 of 3 with the 2003 Tournament of Champions pattern, that if you recall, was a long pattern with a 50' buff. Let me say this is very enjoyable to bowl on. Last week I started the first game with the wrong ball and the wrong line, and opened with a 170 game. The next two I moved to my Inferno and played a fifth arrow fade shot and shot a couple of 190's. Nothing to be too proud of, but I felt like I threw the ball pretty well. It's amazing to see how the pros can tear stuff like this up. Anyway, not that anyone wanted to hear this dull story......I'd just like to recommend finding a league of this sort. It's a great challenge and it shows just how versatile you really are or aren't.
