Yesterday afternoon, as I watched events unfold at the ABT Chicagoland North Division Firecracker Singles Tournament, I began to compose an article in my head to be posted on BallReviews.com today. Our own Pin Krusher, not to be confused with Pin_Krusher, or anyone else for that matter
, was working his way into the top twelve finals. His ultimate goal: First prize in the Classic Division, worth $2500 “plus ABT Bonus Bucks possibilities†as our director so often announces.
Although I cannot report that PK reached that ultimate goal, I am able to report that he got through his first round of match play before losing in the next round. That enabled him to finished tied for fifth, which still netted him a nice paycheck. In addition to the paycheck, PK came away with experience that one cannot gain from practice, and that is the experience of actually bowling in head-to-head match play finals to win a tournament.
